Waiting for Summer

We don't feel we have been on holiday, unless we are by the coast. There is something about the sea and the ruggedness of the UK coastline that draws me back again and again.  I was bidding on some watercolours of beach huts on ebay a while ago, but they were to rich for my blood.  As I am useless at painting I decided the only way around it was to create my own in fabric.  Looking for ideas I went to google with no real luck.  Then trawling through some of the blogs I follow I found the inspiration I needed. at shabbypolkadots  a great on line shop worth a visit as thecraftytrundler makes and sells some beautiful gifts.

Any way I hope you like my attempt.

  1. They are so precious. I love the quirkyness of the fabrics up next to each other.

    I am 100% positive that you could make and sell these on Etsy . . . they are just so cute and summer-y . . . I can see them hanging in a summer house or a summer room or somewhere you want to be summer.

    I must keep them in mind. My nephew has a "sun room" ans I will get to see it this sumer . . these might work there :0}
